Bodegas Fontana produces superb single estate wines from the DO Uclés. The estate is located in the Castilian highlands of Cuenca, far from the spotlight, and all the better for it. The vineyards lie off the radar but above the ordinary: higher altitude, lower yields and cooler nights. Situated at 700 to 900 metres above sea level, the ideal growing conditions at this altitude produce wines of great purity, freshness and varietal expression. The estate is managed as an integrated ecosystem, which includes hundreds of century old Quercus oak trees and the vineyard is certified organic. 

Tasting Note
A crisp, lively and unoaked blend, defined by clarity and precision. Aromas of citrus, fresh grass, and subtle exotic fruit are expressive yet restrained. The finish is lingering and dry, with a distinctive mineral backbone.
