Our Story

- August 2026 -

Thanks for visiting our new website which incorporates our original 'bricks & mortar' business; Darley Abbey Wines as well as our whisky & spirits online retail business; Sought After Spirits.

Darley Abbey Wines was established in 2007, originally as a wine merchant, we added our first wine bar within the UNESCO World Heritage site of Darley Abbey Mills, Derbyshire back in 2016.

Fast forward to 2026 and we are now very much a hybrid drinks business with the original wine merchant business, three bars, an extensive, year-round, wine & whisky tasting programme, an online retail shop & a distillery producing our own London Dry Gin.
