100% Grenache from 80+ year old vines on the classic sandy, gravel, galets roulés laden soils of Chateauneuf. Planted on the flat, north-facing parcel in the lieu-dit of Bois Sénéchaux, where wine maker; Eric Texier has been working with the grower Jean Riché for more than 20 years.

Tasting note
unfurling with aromas of violet, rose petals, mulberries and garrigue. Medium- to full-bodied, layered and textural, it’s concentrated yet supple, with a fleshy core of fruit framed by velvety tannins and concluding with a long, lively and ethereal finish. Crafted entirely from Grenache Noir vinified with whole clusters, it’s precise and superbly made.
