Frapin Chateau Fontpinot XO — Well aged, single-château Cognac
A burnished, coppery gold. The nose is autumnal: dried apricot, fig, and quince folded into marzipan and hazelnut, with a whisper of old port beginning to surface. The palate is rich and complete, dried and candied fruit intertwining with a nutty, faintly smoky rancio, and a finish that is sill unspooling long after the sip is gone.
