Ardnahoe Distillery, Cask Strength, Batch 2, 61% Islay whisky is composed exclusively of spirit matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, hand selected for their fullness of character.

This Batch 2 has been aged for nearly six years and is offered at its natural cask strength of 61%, and is bottled with no artificial colouring and no chill-filtration.

Nose: Coastal brine, earthy peat and rich cocoa on the nose.

Palate: Bold, intense, Orchard fruits, herbal tea and salted caramel, bonfire smoke. It coats the mouth with a thick, oily texture.

Finish: Long and warming. A sweet, smoky finish with citrus undertones.
